Africa XII: The Serengeti

Buffalo? (The name of this animal has eluded me for the moment)

Africa IV: Onto Kilimanjaro!

Day 1: Machame Gate (1490 m) - Machame camp (2980 m). Hiking time: 7 hours

Taiwan VIII: 瑞穗牧场

On our way to the next destination, we stopped by a large flower field..


Ivy being the macro lover, went wild with all the flowers..

Taiwan VI: 吉安慶修院

After napping enough for the morning, we visited 吉安慶修院, a Buddhist temple built by the Japanese during their occupation of Taiwan. Unlike Chinese-built temples which are painted in bright auspicious colours and decorated with gold and bronze, this temple gave a very zen feel with its wooden earthly colours..

Butterflies and Moths

Taken at HDB void deck. The butterfly is the Common Grass Blue (Zizina labradus) while the moth is the Orange Spotted Tiger Moth (Ceryx sp.)
